The challenges of furnishing your property (quickly)

Long delivery times, rising construction costs, stock shortages, staff shortages… No one can escape these hard times caused by a pandemic and war. We have heard enough the damn word ‘crisis’ by now. CDC Design to your rescue: how we tackle our customers’ crisis.

Own stock

It goes without saying that a real estate project is delivered as quickly as possible. With some customers we have agreements about the delivery time; for the furnishing of small-scale projects we take 2 to 4 weeks. This is possible thanks to our large stock from which we can pick and go. This way, we are not dependent on fast and consistent deliveries – which, unfortunately, are difficult to achieve for many suppliers these days.

Economies of scale

Life has become much more expensive, and so has our household goods. Raw materials such as wood have more than doubled in price. Consequently, furniture prices are also skyrocketing. By buying in larger quantities, we at CDC Design can somewhat reduce the purchase prices. It is our customers who benefit from this.

Flexibility

Long chains make for long processes. The more links there are, the more time there is to realise projects. In the construction sector, enormous collaborations with many parties such as architects, (sub)contractors, suppliers… come about. At CDC Design, we try to shorten this chain by designing in-house and following up the site ourselves, with our own contractors and other partners. We are a small team with a broad know-how, which enables us to act extremely quickly. We’re the queens of quick wins!

Creativity

Return, return, return. That is what counts on the development side. As a creative sparring partner, we come up with creative designs and solutions in no time and within any budget. Because in addition to return, the sustainability and image of your project also counts. It only contributes to that return.

Know-how

How do you furnish ever-smaller homes in an efficient, cosy and budget-friendly way? For us, it is all in a day’s work. We like to challenge our resourcefulness and look for creative solutions to every problem. As always, the devil is in the details.

Logistics

Designing is one thing. Making it happen is another. By doing so, we have learned how to set up a project smoothly and with as few problems as possible. There is a lot involved and it requires good planning and management. But there is no greater satisfaction than when we deliver a project turnkey. We’re your smooth operator.
