Caroline De Cuyper invited artist Pablo Piatti to paint two of CDC’s T02 coffee tables, resulting in a set of expressive pièces uniques. Fully in line with CDC’s view on design, this collaboration marries art with functionality. Paintings don’t just belong on the wall and a piece of furniture can be uplifted beyond its practical use. Both designs were chosen based on the intense emotions they evoke.
Mowgli Cantaloupe Melon portrays a small figure in a huge world, to which we can all tell our own story. Mowgli Hope Green shows a depiction of a waterfall that, every time you look at it, makes you discover something new – in the colour palette, or within yourself.
