Located in one of the most diverse neighbourhoods of Antwerp, this hospitality project is a true reflection of the style of this vibrant multicultural area in the city. We created 24 Apartments for short-term rental. The neighbourhood is a melting pot of traditions, languages, cuisines, and beliefs, where people from all over the world come together to share their unique backgrounds and experiences.
Its high ceilings, brick walls, wooden floors and decorations are all distinctive elements that evoke the elegance of the era. The relocation of such an important place starts with the desire to respect and maximize the respect for existing flow of cultural events, and the celebration of differences contribute to a rich and dynamic community. A crucial element of the project is the creation of perspectives that move longitudinally and transversely through the space, where CDC Design seeks to create engaging experiences for those in the space through art and colorful furniture that align with the client’s brand identity. The chosen materials and colors harmoniously integrate with the existing decorative elements without overpowering them.
A bold and saturated color palette is used to highlight bustling activities in the neighbourhood on the one hand, creating an immersive and enveloping effect, on the other hand, the brand pillars are upheld, leveraging select items to deliver a recognizable result.
